Sunday service

In the Sunday Service, by revering the Buddha through sincere recitation of Kyoten, we remember and praise the virtues and teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha and express our deep gratitude. We also read Dharma passages and deepen our understanding by Hoza (a Dharma circle).

We have been studying Buddhist teachings with reference to:

Sunday Services allow us: 1) to reflect on the meaning and purpose of our lives; 2) to reaffirm the Eternal Buddha as their refuge and focus of devotion; 3) to become aware that we are sustained by the Eternal Buddha; and 4) to renew our vows to be diligent in practising the Buddha’s teachings and have a concrete goal at the start of each week.

This event is open to anyone, including non-members. We are happy to welcome you all. You can keep your mic and video off.
